Free Admission to Vermont State Parks June 10 & 11
Vermont Days is an annual weekend in June celebrating the arrival of summer with free admission to day-use areas at Vermont State Parks and state-owned historic sites. Free Fishing Day is on Saturday, June 10 and gives residents and non-residents permission to fish in Vermont for the day without a license.
Both Vermont residents and out-of-state visitors are invited to celebrate summer in Vermont by spending the day on the lake, immersing yourself into Vermont's past, or casting a line on Vermont Days.
RCT is providing a free shuttle from the Welcome Center in St Johnsbury to Boulder Beach in Groton on Saturday and to the Nature Center and Boulder Beach on Sunday.
Saturday:
- Leave the St Johnsbury Welcome center at 9:45 am arriving at
Boulder Beach at 10:30 am. - Leave the St Johnsbury Welcome Center at 11:30 am, arriving at
Boulder Beach at 12:15 pm, returning to St Johnsbury. If anyone wants to stay later or went down on the 11:30 am run, a return trip will be made with a 3 pm pick up at Boulder Beach.
Sunday:
- Leave Welcome Center at 9:15 am, drop off at Groton Nature Center at 10 am, Boulder Beach at 10:15 am. The vehicle will remain on site and leave at 12:15 pm to return to ST Johnsbury Welcome Center.
