RCT Solar Array Questions & Answers – April 12, 2024 *updated

Question 1: Are there any as built plans for the building? Rooftop structure, rooftop layout and electrical drawings?

Answer: RCT does not have any electrical drawings or as-built drawings for the building, roof structure, or roof layout.

Question 2: Who installed the roof? Is there a warranty on it? Do you know if they would require slip sheets for the solar racking?

Answer: The metal roof is original to the building.

Question 3: How old is the building? Do you have building and/or roof structural drawings you could share?

Answer: The building is 17 years old. RCT does not have any building and/or roof structural drawings.

Question 4: Do you have any electrical drawings/schematics for the building?

            Answer: RCT does not have any electrical drawings/schematics for the building.

Question 5: Has a CPG been filed?

Answer: No, a CPG has not been filed for the rooftop solar array. All required permitting is part of the scope of work for the selected installer as outlined in the Solar Rooftop Array RFP FY24-4

Question 6: What phase/voltage is the building?

            Answer: The building is 3-phase with 277/480 voltage.
