Rural Community Transportation Celebrates GivingTuesday, joining millions around the world participating in the global generosity movement on December 1, 2020 GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world.
Rural Community Transportation (RCT), the NEK’s local fare-free transportation provider, is excited to announce the design of a new website, www.RideRCT.org. The upgraded website has redesigned maps, better access to schedules, news, program information, career opportunities and more.
As communities are opening up, RCT is planning to resume regularly scheduled bus service on all routes except the shopper routes, beginning June 15.
Beginning in July, passengers of Green Mountain Transit’s (GMT) US2 Commuter, Route 100 Commuter, Morrisville Loop, and Morrisville Shopping Shuttle will have a new service provider, Rural Community Transit (RCT)!
Rural Community Transportation, Inc., RCT, receives federal funds to purchase two new electric buses.
Micro Transit is coming to Morrisville and Hyde Park. Take a minute and respond to our survey. Micro-transit is public transit service open to all members of the public with service provided by a small bus or van. Riders will request a ride via an app, online, or by calling RCT. Rides will be delivered in a lift-equipped van within the Town of Morrisville and Hyde Park boundaries.
